The German publication Elektronik has undergone a few editorial changes recently, starting with the retirement of Wolfgang Hascher at the end of 2014.  Wolfgang is soon to be followed by Jens Würtenberg, and at the opposite end of the spectrum Irina Hübner left on 17th April to go on maternity leave.

This has left room for one new face, and a familiar one as Harry Schubert rejoins the Elektronik team after a stint at ZVEI.  Harry will be responsible for covering wireless and RF, as well as collating all the information for the news section in the magazine. Markus Halle is the latest addition to the team, and will be taking over Irina’s beat, covering mixed signal ICs, opto, displays and consumer technology.

Amongst these changes, there has also been a little bit of a shake up in other editorial areas, with Frank Riemenschneider taking over the automation beat in addition to covering microelectronics.
