Following our Media Moves November blog about Joe Bush joining the team at Electronic Specifier, we have news that Amy Wallington will be the new editor at Components in Electronics Magazine. Amy is due to start on December 14, so in the meantime all press releases should be sent to the generic news email address.
Amy graduated from Canterbury Christ Church University after completing a BCTJ-accredited Multimedia Journalism course at where she specialised in print and online journalism, politics and law and ethics, and she also gained an NCTJ-accredited qualification in shorthand.
Managing Editor, Neil Mead, said he is excited to welcome Amy to the world of electronics: “She is incredibly enthusiastic and she is very keen to get stuck in to her new role. She will be a great asset to the team. “The electronics components market is a fascinating one and Amy will bring lots of new ideas to help develop CIE Magazine for the future.”
