A quick glance at the CIE website reveals that it has undergone a revamp this week. The site has been redesigned to align it more closely with the print edition. From now on, the website will carry more feature articles as well as electronics news stories. The URL remains the same – http://www.cieonline.co.uk/ – but the improvements really make navigating the website a lot easier than before.
Alongside the new website, a distributor directory website has also been launched. Distributors have their own login details allowing them to update their details. Depending on the package they’ve signed up to, they will also be able to upload news stories to appear in the newsfeed on the main site. Amy Wallington, Editor at CIE magazine, said “CIE readers should find our sleek, new-look site much easier to navigate. It’s great to be able to include more feature articles as well. We also have a new events calendar on the main site giving details of all the main upcoming electronics events.”
