These are the Nikkei Public Relations (BP) Electronics & Mechanical Group organisation changes (effective January 1, 2014):
This group covers electronic components and devices, industrial systems and software in the field of manufacturing, including automotive, telecommunications, consumer electronics, industrial, medical and computer systems.
The group has three printed magazines (Nikkei Electronics, Nikkei Monozukuri, Nikkei Automotive Technology) and manages Nikkei BP Tech-On, the online outlet.

Nikkei BP Tech-On will be renamed Nikkei Technology Online effective April 1, 2014. The aim is to create more attractive content covering cross-over industries not only in the Electronics & Mechanical Group but other editorial groups such as ITpro (computer, wireless, sensor and social media), medial (Nikkei Medical), and construction (Nikkei Construction).
