EE Times has hired Sylvie Barak as its North American west coast online reporter, describing her as a “rising technology journalist and social media pioneer.” Sylvie started her career as a reporter on the Inquirer. TechEye.net says of her: “Sylvie soon discovered she was rather good at being a thorn in Intel’s backside, and proceeded to extend the discomfort to the likes of AMD, Nvidia and other semis fab and fabless alike,” adding that her motto is “If you can’t convince them, confuse them.” Sounds like some lively EE Times editorial is in the pipeline. I wonder how the advertisers will feel about it?
