As summer approaches, so do the call for paper deadlines for the next round of conferences. Don’t don your sunhat and bathing costume too early – there’s still work to do!

Here’s a quick guide to some of the upcoming conferences in Germany and the deadlines for submissions:

Wireless CongressWireless Congress – 17th – 18th November 2015

This is the 12th year the event will be held.  This year’s focus will include wireless automation & M2M, low-power wireless systems, as well as the “wireless IoT” and industrial applications like SRD/ISM-radios.  Further inspiration can be found here.  The event are accepting proposals for speaking opportunities; either presentations of approximately 30 minutes, or workshops or tutorials of up to approximately 1.5 or 3 hours.

Deadline 26th June 2015.

Automotive Ethernet CongressAutomotive Ethernet Congress – 3rd – 4th February 2016

The Automotive Ethernet Congress is only in its second year, but was highly successful in 2015 with over 600 participants over the two day event.  This year the congress is focusing on how automotive ethernet is moving towards the mass market. A list of possible paper topics can be found on their website.

Embedded WorldEmbedded World Conference – 23rd – 25th February 2016

The keynote theme for this years Embedded World is “We are the Internet of Things”.  A full list of topics for papers can be found here, but the conference will predominantly focus on the following:

electronic displays Conferenceelectronic displays Conference – 24th – 25th February 2016

Now in its 30th year, the electronics displays conference is open for contributions ranging from research & development and applications as well as market trends.

Topics for papers range from display technologies (LCD, OLED, PDP, …) to measurement tasks (display performance, ambient light), the call for papers page hosts a more exhaustive list.
