Electronics Sourcing North America has ceased publication in print form. Its UK publisher, MMG, says that exchange rate changes and US business sentiment led to the decision. However, the publisher is re-launching Electronics Assembly after a short break and, in May 2011, launched Electronics Sourcing Deutschland as a bi-monthly supplement to Electronics Sourcing Europe. Electronics Sourcing Deutschland will become a stand-alone publication in September 2012, just before next year’s Electronica show in Munich, Germany. Publisher Mark Leary said, “In addition to our UK and European audited circulations, we will maintain our investment in our 90,000 US reader list, including 20,000 BPA audited and registered readers, opening the opportunity for global, multimedia offerings.”
