At a gala dinner held last night at the Museo della Scienza e della Tecnologia in Milan, FTDI picked up the prize for Best Embedded Product in the Selezione di Elettronica Innovation Awards 2012. The company beat established players in the embedded space, such as Kontron, Advantech, GE, Congatec, Avalue and Eurotech, to take the award for its Vinculum II product. This comes only shortly after its success in the Embedded Design category at Elektronik’s Product of the Year Awards.
