Global Sources, the publishing house behind EE Times Asia, recently announced it has received two Titanium awards in the The Asset Magazine’s annual Triple A Corporate Awards. According to the December 2009 edition, these were presented to Global Sources for excellence in corporate governance and in investor relations.
The Titanium awards allow companies to be benchmarked in one or more of five categories: Three-year financial performance, corporate governance, social responsibility, environmental responsibility and investor relations.
According to the press release, The Asset’s award committee based its decision on interviews with investors, analysts and industry specialists. And companies were assessed for their management acumen with scores being given accordingly for each of the categories.
