China became the world biggest automotive market last year with 13.6 million light vehicles sold. In 2010, sales are forecast to increase by 29.4% to around 17.6 million units, confirming its global leadership. Further, the big increase in sales volumes is driving huge growth in the associated market for OE automotive systems and the components used in them, as reported in IMS Research’s latest study “The Chinese Market for OE Automotive Electronic Systems”.
