John Henry Day JrPublitek is sad to learn that John Henry Day Jr passed away at his home on Sunday, July 31, 2016 at the age of 71. John ran the popular website John Day’s Automotive Electronics. John was born in Boston, MA on September 16, 1944, and he received his Bachelor’s Degree in English from Northeastern University in 1967. He later attended Penn State University, where he received his Master’s Degree in Journalism in 1970.

John was a public relations specialist and journalist in Boston and Atlanta and he wrote articles for many publications in his career, and authored a book for SAE International on automotive electrical and electronic reliability.
