Here’s another update for electronics and tech PR agency media lists. Promedianum, a media company founded by François Gauthier, previously editor-in-chief of ElectroniqueS, has launched a family of all-digital media outlets focused on the embedded software and systems market called L’Embarqué (The Embedded).
L’Embarque is the first new B2B electronics media outlet to appear in France for many years. It’s focussed on the embedded hardware and software sector.
Run by Pierrick Arlot and François, two seasoned journalists with over 40 years’ combined editorial experience covering embedded electronic design, the new outlets include a French language web site, several newsletters (French and English versions), and a French digital magazine in PDF format.
The L’Embarqué web site features a daily updated news feed, various guest blogs run by embedded experts online job postings and regularly refreshed information on new products
There are three L’Embarqué newsletters:
- 1) A daily newsletter featuring brief coverage of breaking news
- 2) A weekly newsletter with further details of the current week’s announcements, interviews and and information on industry start-ups
- 3) An English language newsletter sent primarily to a non-French-speaking European readership. Issued every two months, this newsletter will feature news focused on the French embedded software and systems market
With more than 50 pages displayed in rich PDF format and readable on PCs and tablets, the quarterly digital magazine will include interviews, analysis articles written by L’Embarqué journalists, and in-depth contributed articles on new hardware or software technologies.
Readers will be able to find, classify and archive information, whether it is from the web site, or published in the magazine.
A 12€/month subscription fee gives access to the weekly newsletters and digital magazine. The subscription form is on the web site. Subscribers can unsubscribe at any time, permanently or temporarily, on a month-by-month basis. L’Embarqué is believed to be the first B2B trade media publisher to adopt a subscription-based model.
