French embedded design publication, L’Embarqué, and Upperside Conferences, a telecom conferences organiser in France, will host an international technology event focused on Low Power Wide Area Networks (LPWAN) for M2M and other IoT applications. The conference, named LPWAN16, will take place in Paris over three days in May 2016.

L’Embarque has also announced that its publisher, Promedianum, raised over 100,000 Euros during 2015 for further development of the L’Embarque website. The funds were raised from the embedded community in France and the Lendopolis crowdfunding site.
