Paul Miller, one of the best known executives in the B2B electronics industry, has been laid off by UBM as a result of re-organisation by the media group, which he joined in 1991 after working in advertising sales for Reed’s Electronics Weekly in the UK.
Paul became CEO of UBM Tech in 2012. Prior that he was CEO of UBM Electronics, where he expanded the group’s business into China, Japan, India, Brazil, Korea and Taiwan.
Paul led the closure of EE Times as a print medium and the development of its web site, which is now based on a social media platform. It was a controversial move that still provokes much debate today.
