PCIM (Power Conversion Intelligent Motion) Europe runs from 10th – 12th May 2016, attracting hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of attendees interested in power electronics and power systems.
It seems there’s plenty of cutting-edge tech trends to look forward to getting a glimpse of this year: new power technology for drones, wearables, robotics and the Internet of Things (IoT) will abound in the halls of PCIM 2016.
Wednesday’s panel discussion on Industry 4.0 – ‘The Smart Future of Power Electronics’ will certainly be a huge drawcard for many attendees as the industrial and manufacturing world hangs on the cusp of digitisation.
For the automotive enthusiasts, the TERA association from the Technical University in Graz, Austria, will be showing off their latest developments in efficient vehicle tech with their electrically-operated IBEX research vehicle.
With a steady stream of speakers, presentations from both exhibitors and academics, awards for young engineers and a day specifically reserved for students, it seems there is something in the line-up to get everyone’s pulses racing.
