Publisher Sanoma Magazines has announced the closure of Prosessori, Finland’s only significant B2B magazine serving the electronics sector. The November issue will be the last. News editor, Veijo Ojanperä, is to join a new weekly technology tabloid newspaper called 3T – more details will follow as soon as we have them.

We don’t have any information about the fate of the other journalists on the editorial team. Prosessori has been the main independent source of information for electronics engineers for many years and a very significant proportion of its print copies were delivered to Nokia designers. Perhaps the phone maker’s widely-reported problems are now having knock-on consequences into the publishing sector.
