Publitek sponsors the Bessemer Society to help technology entrepreneurs tell their stories

Publitek is now sponsoring the Bessemer Society, “a forum and mutual society formed of ‘serial’ CEOs, founders and entrepreneurs who are committed to creating successful new companies based on technological innovation in the fields of science and technology.”

Publitek will help communicate the Society’s ethos, ambitions and achievements to like-minded individuals throughout the UK and beyond. It also provides marketing communications consultancy to Bessemer Society members.

The Society, named after Sir Henry Bessemer, the nineteenth century steel inventor and entrepreneur, holds 10-12 networking dinners around the UK each year, about half of them in London. Each one has a central theme, examples being the ‘Hydrogen Economy’ and the ‘Second Semiconductor Revolution’. At the gatherings, notable speakers from industry, academia and government share their perspectives on the world of UK innovation and manufacturing with invited guests. This year’s schedule of events can be seen here.

The Bessemer Society’s founder, Alex Stewart, commented, “Publitek’s specialism of communicating with engineering and industrial audiences made them natural partners for the Society. The agency came to us through the recommendation of one of our members and the team has already impressed with its skills and enthusiasm for promoting our aims to the wider world.”
