Steve Taranovich has joined EDN magazine as senior editor for analog and systems. Steve started his career as an analog designer, later moving into field applications and account management. Following 8 years at General Microwave, he joined Burr Brown Corporation in 1988. TI acquired the company in 2000 and Steve stayed on until February 2011, since which time he has been a freelance technical writer. For the last 4 years, he has also been Chairman Educational Activities Committee of the IEEE. He replaces Paul Rako, who left the publication recently and is based in New York. Steve holds a BSEE and MSEE.
