A new “collaborative community” launched earlier this month in the US. Called TechBites, the website offers a mix of technical content and social networking. So, members can both publish and access technical content and participate in group discussions / connect with peers via its communities.
It has launched with 15 managed communities including: Automotive, Chip Design, Green Power, Embedded Medical, RF, Video and Imaging, and Wireless.
The company marketing states that its Premier Communities are managed by well-known industry experts and the site is led by editorial director, Kenton Williston. PMN has also been informed that there will be a number of recognisable names contributing to the site – these include Carolyn Mathis, Cliff Roth, Henry Davis, Lee Goldberg and Rick DeMeis.
