Technology PR specialist, Derek Rye joins Publitek
Technical PR agency, Publitek, has announced the appointment of Derek Rye, formerly director of marketing at Plessey Semiconductors and marketing manager at Intel.
The appointment follows a series of significant new business wins for the agency and further advances its deep-tech credentials. Publitek account directors are mostly engineers or scientists.
Publitek’s managing director, Bob Jones, said: “Whatever the communications channel, the biggest challenge for technology companies is to create high quality technical content. Derek strengthens our position as Europe’s most capable agency in this aspect of our work. He has a track record for producing content which is compelling and technical for both traditional and social media channels.”
Derek brings over 25 years’ experience from the semiconductor industry. He has a masters degree in systems engineering from the University of Surrey.
