UBM has bought the remaining 60.1% of eMedia Asia Limited off Global Sources Ltd, and are now the sole owners. This acquisition will add the China International Optoelectronic Expo (CIOE) to UBMs portfolio of events in China, and complements UBMs existing offerings in Asia for the electronics community. CIOE is due to take place between August 31 to September 3 in at the Shenzhen Conference & Exhibition Centre, China.
