Launching on January 17th, Microcontroller Central will be a new web site from UBM Electronics with Richard Quinnell as editor-in-chief. Under the banner ‘changing the world, bit by bit’ the site is designed to provide ‘engineers, enthusiasts and hobbyists alike, an engaging and collaborative community in which to envision and realize the next revolution in MCU-based devices, applications and products that will impact our world’, according to the publisher. Richard Quinnell has freelanced for EETimes for some time. He has a BSEE, MS in Applied Physics and has undertaken Doctoral studies in Quantum Electronics and Computer Design and Communications.
